Chromebook Management: New field! Asset ID

Well, this came out of the blue! This is great! So there is now a new (editable) field in the Chromebook Console--Asset ID. You can sort by it as well. This is awesome for us because we have (as I'm sure many of you) an asset ID for each of our devices but there was nowhere to put it in the Console (unless you wanted to put it in the notes and that didn't seem like a good idea). Now, I'll be able to export my devices, compare it with our own internal file of devices and import the asset IDs into the Console! Saweet. Read More here.

 

I also noticed there is  Directory API ID listed under Hardware and OS. Is this new?
