I must say, I'm pretty disappointed we have to wait so long :( Especially because I'll be doing a presentation on the Google Apps Dashboard and the Chromebook Management Console on May 11th at the Minnesota Google Summit. Seems silly to give a presentation on the Dashboard when it will all change :/ Anyways, back to the good stuff...
I just got done watching a Google Webinar introducing the New Google Apps
There isn't many new features (really, no big new features or settings) most changes are in the user interface and just the differences between the classic and new console. However, (1.) it was needed badly! and (2.) even the change of look and organization is an improvement while working within the console. There are some new little things though that I did see (I'll post another blog post about these later). The one that I know about which I'm most excited is the ability to list the entire list of users in your Domain--you don't have to page through 30 at a time. Yes!
Here's a great 5 minute overview video of the new Dashboard. You definitely need to watch this.

*There should be an email sent out today from Google to Google Apps Admins regarding the new Admin Console*
*There are 2 more Google Webinars today - take a look here.*
I really wish I could experiment with the new Console but below are some good resources to take a sneak peek before it gets implemented in your Gapps Domain.
Resources - Must Looks
- New Google Admin Console YouTube Video (5:24)
- Admin Console Guide Document
- Google Admin Console: Dashboard Controls (Cheat Sheet)
EDIT: Here is the blog post announcing the new Admin Console.
