Timezones can now be set globally - as of 3/26/2013
Located: Settings/Chrome/Device Settings (bottom of the settings page). This is a device setting, not a user setting.
Devices move Org Units upon Enrollment
When you enroll a device the device gets auto put into the organization that the user (who enrolled the device) is in. However, the "user" still says the original user.
*Note* I have noticed that this is not the case anymore :( . The devices are no longer moving into new orgs upon enrollment. Anyone else experience this?
Pinned Apps and Extensions can be globally managed
I just noticed this new setting this morning when +Sean Beaverson mentioned it. It looks like you can now set the Pinned Apps and Extensions that appear on the "ribbon" when on a Chromebook. This is separate from the apps and extensions management that was already in the console. Very cool!
Previous Updates:
- "Chrome OS" has been renamed to just "Chrome" (under Settings)
- The Applications tab has moved into the User Settings tab
- Devices tab has moved to it's own main tab
